The TI app is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You may not have heard that term before, here's what it means for you, in plain language:
It installs like an app, runs like an app, but lives on the web. Instead of going to the App Store or Google Play, you open your browser, go to app.telemetryinsights.com, and tap "Add to Home Screen." That's it. You get an icon on your home screen, full-screen mode, and push notifications, exactly like any other app you've downloaded.
You always have the latest version, automatically. When we fix a bug or release a new feature, it's live the moment you open the app. No "Update Available" prompts, no waiting, no version confusion. App Store apps can sit at an old version for weeks if you don't manually update.
Problems get fixed faster. App Store updates go through a review process that can take days. With the TI app, if we find a bug affecting your alerts or device readings, we fix it and it's in your hands within hours, not days.
It works on every device you own. One app, same experience on your iPhone, Android phone, Windows PC, Mac, and tablet. You don't need separate apps for different devices, and your account and data are the same everywhere.
No storage concerns. The app takes up minimal space on your device. If you ever delete it, reinstalling takes seconds, just open the browser and add it to your home screen again. All your data lives in the cloud.
No account required just to install. You can open the app in a browser and evaluate it before you ever create an account or add to your home screen.

Interactive map showing all your device locations with cluster grouping. Filter by active/inactive status and navigate quickly to specific zones. For multi-property operators, this is the fastest way to see what's happening across all sites at once.
Real-time push alerts for watering events, device online/offline status, and threshold warnings. You're notified the moment an alarm fires, not when you happen to open the app. Search and filter your full notification history.
Alert severity levels for Drip Defender: Critical, Major, and Warning, so you know immediately how urgent a response is.
Set it and forget it. Each night the TI cloud AI fetches the next day's weather forecast, calculates evapotranspiration and precipitation probability, and adjusts irrigation thresholds per device before dawn. You see the decisions in the app, what happened, why, and what's coming, but you don't have to make them yourself.
Fine-tune temperature, humidity, pressure, and soil moisture readings. Adjust alert thresholds for each device and zone. The app gives you full control over sensitivity without requiring technical expertise.

Web browser (no install required), Open any browser and go to app.telemetryinsights.com. Sign in and you're monitoring immediately. Works on any device with a browser.
Installed on iPhone/iPad, Open Safari, navigate to app.telemetryinsights.com, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen." The app icon appears on your home screen and runs full-screen with push notifications. Requires iOS 16.4 or later.
Installed on Android, Open Chrome, navigate to app.telemetryinsights.com, tap the three-dot menu, then "Install App." The icon appears on your home screen.
Installed on Windows or Mac, Open Chrome or Edge, navigate to app.telemetryinsights.com, click the install icon in the address bar, and click Install. The app gets its own window and a taskbar/Dock shortcut.

Push notifications alert you the moment something needs attention, even when the app is closed or in the background. Once you install the app, go to Notifications → Settings and enable push notifications. Your device will ask for permission; tap Allow.
Notification types include:
New users, Create your account through the app or at app.telemetryinsights.com. You can sign in with Google, Amazon, or Microsoft, or create an email/password account.
Existing customers, Sign in with the same credentials you used during setup. All your devices, history, and settings are in the cloud, accessible immediately on any device.
