How do I set up my Drip Defender device?

Visit app.telemetryinsights.com to create your account and follow the in-app setup wizard. The device connects to your WiFi network and will be ready in under 5 minutes. See our app installation guide if you need help getting the app on your device first.

How do I install the app on my iPhone?

The Telemetry Insights app installs directly from Safari — no App Store required. Open app.telemetryinsights.com in Safari, tap the Share button (⬆), then tap “Add to Home Screen”. Requires iOS 16.4 or later. View full iPhone install guide →

How do I install the app on Android?

Can I use the app on my Windows PC or Mac?

Yes — the app installs on Windows and Mac through Chrome or Edge using the install icon in the address bar. On Mac you can also use Safari (macOS Sonoma 14+). Once installed it runs in its own window with full push notification support. View desktop install guide →

How do I enable push notifications?

After installing the app to your home screen (or desktop), open it from the app icon and go to Notifications → Settings. Tap Enable Push Notifications and allow when prompted. What WiFi requirements does the device need?

The device requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network (5GHz is not supported). Most routers broadcast both frequencies, so ensure you're connecting to the 2.4GHz network during setup.

How long does the battery last?

When using the included USB power adapter, the device runs indefinitely. On battery backup alone, the device can operate for up to 24 hours, giving you time to restore power.

Can I use the device without a subscription?

The device requires an active subscription for cloud connectivity, alerts, and app access. Without a subscription, the device will not transmit data or send notifications.

How do I reset my device?

Press and hold the reset button on the back of the device for 10 seconds. The LED will flash rapidly, indicating the device has been reset to factory defaults. You can then set it up again through the app.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship to the United States and Canada. International shipping is planned for later in 2026. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we expand to your region.
